The Promenades Photographiques are among the most recognized photo festivals in France, and it is with pleasure that Picto Foundation sponsors the event and supports it again this year.
Through an immersive journey through Vendôme, the public will discover the plural narratives of emerging or recognized artists from seven countries. From Ouka Leele to Rémi Chapeaublanc, from Nicolas Henry to Inta Ruka, 23 photographic languages will be exposed to view. Portfolio conferences, screenings, conferences, the 8th publishing and book fair, the Atelier des Photos et des Mots directed by Philippe Andrieu, and the revelations of the Mark Grosset Prize will punctuate this meeting of the picture.

THE CAMPUS
We carefully support the international campus coordinated by Mat Jacob.
During campus, students gathered in a workshop create a collective creation on a given theme. Accompanied by trainers, over ten days they cover all the stages of producing a photographic work: shooting, selection of images, their post-production, sending them to the laboratory, receiving the prints then hanging a final exhibition integrated into the Photographic Walks program.
OUKA LEELE
She wanted to be a painter. But she encountered photography, another way of questioning figuration. When Franco died, between intimacy and distance, she developed a unique, original, terribly contemporary, radically playful work. Her staged portraits of her friend Pedro Almodovar, or those, delirious, of her Peluquerias series show a singular universe, between provocation and games, a particular vision of beauty.
PIERRE FAURE

Since 2012 Pierre Faure has documented the rise of poverty in France. This work aims to make visible the living conditions of some French people.
An economist by training, he is interested in developments that are profoundly changing French society over the long term. Poverty declined from the 1970s until the mid-1990s, then the trend reversed. This upward movement constitutes a turning point in the social history of the country.
France has 8.9 million poor people. Between 2005 and 2015, the number of people affected increased by almost a million.
Pierre Faure is winner of the Friends of the Albert-Kahn Museum prize.
MARK GROSSET PRIZE
The Marc Grosset prize is intended to discover and promote young photographers from international photography schools. It is awarded since 2007.
