PICTO develops around a venture that has remained resolutely family-based, compassionate and attentive to the creativity and needs of photographers.

Faced with the upheavals and innovations associated with image over the last twenty years, photographers have developed their practices. In an environment where traditional techniques are making a comeback and new technologies are opening up new territories, photographers and artists are exploring new visual fields.

Picto Foundation aims to support the sector’s stakeholders with their initiatives putting experimenting with images at the heart of the creative project.

Through exhibitions, prizes, artist residencies and the creation of a collection, we wish to support and explore with photographers these new perspectives offered to image-making.
