The HSBC Prize for Photography is an annual prize awarded by the French subsidiary of HSBC bank to two little-known professional photographers.

Each year, a jury selects two prize-winning photographers who work on the representation of reality and have not yet published a monograph. The HSBC Prize for Photography then supports the winners by organising a touring exhibition of their work in Paris and the French regions, co-publishing their first monographic publication with Atelier EXB and ensuring the acquisition of at least six works by HSBC France.

Since 2017, Picto Foundation has been supporting the HSBC Prize for Photography in the creation and production of the winners’ exhibitions.
