Carte Blanche Students: privileged access to the photography market
Supporting the emergence, encouraging the energy and creativity of photographers are at the heart of the needs of image-makers today. Picto Foundation wishes to promote young talents who are outlining new visual perspectives today.
This is the purpose of Carte Blanche Étudiants, a programme dedicated to undergraduates and postgraduates from European photography and visual arts schools, set up with Paris Photo and SNCF Gares & Connexions.
A jury of art world professionals meets every year in June to select the four winners, who will have privileged access to Paris Photo, with an opportunity to meet experts and professionals in photography and the art market (artists, curators, galleries, etc.). They will present their work to the public during Paris Photo at the Grand Palais and during a large-scale exhibition/projection in a Parisian train station.
Carte Blanche Étudiants is a programme co-founded by Picto Foundation, Paris Photo and SNCF Gares & Connexions. Their technical partners Hahnemühle, Filmolux and BenQ support the programme.
