Finalist – Prix Picto de la Mode 2024 : Flore Lorenté

Flore Lorenté is a photographer based in Paris. She graduated in Applied Art, specialising in fashion images, from the Duperré school (2021). She began her studies at Duperré with a BTS in fashion design. She currently works as a fashion photographer. Her photographic work is mainly on film, which she then prints in a darkroom. In July 2024, she will be exhibiting at the MUCEM in Marseille of images from her personal project entitled Physiopolis, as part of the exhibition Paradis Naturistes.

A ballad into bodies prints is a series of images of the female body. These images are enlargements and croppings of photographs from different personal series that I produced during the year 2023. This “walk” through a selection of my silver paper prints explores details of female bodies. The eye moves through the details of the images, between the textures of the paper and the textures of the skin.
