Our vocation
The Picto Foundation Endowment Fund’s ambition is to support actors in the photography sector in their professionalization and creation issues.
A desire and an ambition that translates into support for creation, support for exhibitions, or even for prizes and residencies organization.
Picto Foundation develops programs aimed at encouraging the progression of values within PICTO’s sector of activity, values mainly associated with professionalization, inclusion, and the preservation of know-how.
The program of our endowment fund relies on three dominant axes:
- The professionalization of photographers
Allow emerging artists to access the status of professional photographers by encouraging them in the realization of their projects, supporting them in their journey, and putting them in contact with actors in the sector.
- The inclusiveness of forgotten or prevented actors
Encourage the progression of inclusion issues both through the role of photography and in the image sector itself.
- The preservation of know-how
Promote and encourage excellence in craftsmanship through support for experimentation, through preservation of traditional know-how, and promotion of eco-responsible production.
To fulfill its missions Picto Foundation initiates and supports projects around two main areas: image experimentation and support for creators.
