The 2020 edition of the Promenades Photographiques de Vendôme has been slightly modified by government measures related to the covid-19 health crisis. Usually inaugurated in mid-June, this year, the festival will open its doors to the public in mid-July and the 30 exhibitions, on the theme of the Far East, will be visible until September 20.
Part of the previously unpublished programming will be presented for the first time in Europe. Also new for this 2020 year, three new places are associated with an initiative called “Convergence”. Exhibitions will be visible at the Château de Meslay, the Domaine du Plessis Sasnières and the Fondation du Doute.

– COMMIT TO EDUCATION –
To nourish the field of ideas, strengthen critical thinking and social cohesion, create dialogue between multiple horizons, culture, art and education remain a crying necessity. Since 2005, Promenades Photographiques have been keen to maintain and transmit their commitment to art and education. Through two experimental laboratories, the Atelier des Photos Et des Mots and the International Campus and the Mark Grosset Prize, the festival perpetuates its photographic mission by articulating a tenuous relationship between culture and education, these essentials that the festival supports and defends. .
The PICTO laboratory is a partner of this event.
