At the beginning of April 2021, Baptiste Rabichon, the first winner of PICTO LAB, moved into the studio allocated to him by the Cité Internationale des Arts in the heart of the Marais. Accompanied by Picto Foundation, the Réseau Diagonal, the Cité Internationale des Arts, La Fab. – agnès b. endowment fund and the Dream Big and Grow Fast Foundation, the artist had three months to accomplish his experimental project. Meetings with the other residents and, as far as possible, with professionals were organised throughout the residency.
Baptiste Rabichon was able to initiate his collaboration with the craftsmen of PICTO, and more specifically with the experienced colour printer Fred Jourda who supported him in his research.
